Who we are

Founded in 2020, the Ubuntu Trust is a growing non-profit organisation that seeks to prioritise the advancement of ALL African-born people who live on the continent regardless of race or ethnicity. The trustees consist of a South African group of property developers, business people, technologists and traditional community leaders who use their skills and resources to give back to the African people. Having started in South Africa, we initiate property focused community development, education, relief programmes and various other initiatives to improve the quality
of life for all people, with a goal of widening our programmes throughout Africa.

It has been said that African soil is red because of the blood spilled on the land through the relentless conflicts of history. Compared to its history, Africa is becoming increasingly peaceful, generation after generation. We as Africans (of all races) still have a long way to go to unite our continent and free ourselves of past painful memories. Every year, Africa continues to make progress towards its shared goals of peace and prosperity. At this juncture, our most important priority is delivering safe homes and enabling education through access to the internet.

What we do

The Ubuntu Trust is a real estate focused NGO which undertakes a wide range of activities which benefit the African people. With our roots in South Africa, most of our programmes and initiatives will be tested and sprung from the southern tip of the continent. It is our intention to continue rolling out our programmes throughout Africa. Whilst the founders instilled a property focus into the Ubuntu Trust, the trustees enjoy funding programmes with unique parameters depending on the needs of our beneficiaries.

Our current programmes include:
